Halloween Tips from the City of Kitchener and Public Health

Do-it-yourself Halloween

For families who wish to celebrate Halloween on their own, Region of Waterloo Public Health recommends low-risk activities:

  • Pumpkin decorating.
  • Virtual costume party.
  • Halloween movie night.
  • Sharing spooky stories.
  • Outdoor trick-or-treat scavenger hunt in the backyard.
  • Halloween pinata.

To keep everyone safe, please remember to:

  • Limit close contact with people living in your own household.
