Jump Rope for Heart
SJPII is pleased to be holding a Heart & Stroke Jump Rope for Heart event on Thursday May 17th for our JK/SK and Grade 1 students and Friday May 18th for our students in Grades 2-8. All money raised will support Heart & Stroke in their mission to promote children’s health and fund vital heart and stroke research.
Jump Rope for Heart encourages kids to get active by skipping rope while they donate a toonie for heart disease and stroke research. They also learn the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and giving back to their community. This year Heart & Stroke is striving to get 1 million kids jumping in close to 4,000 schools across Canada. Let’s be part of it!
We need your help to reach our School fundraising goal of $1400, which is a donation of a toonie from each student.
In 2015: The Heart and Stroke Foundation invested more than $31 million in life-saving research, supporting almost 1,000 researchers in medical institutes, universities, hospitals, and communities across the country, and $49 million into programs that educate and empower Canadians to live a healthier life. See how your donation dollars are making a direct impact. Visit jumpropeforheart.ca to watch Child Survivor Videos.
We would like to thank you in advance for supporting this great cause!
