Good afternoon SUNS,
During our afternoon pickup today, there was an incident with one of our buses. Bus route 109 was in the line of buses and upon pulling out, it brushed against one of the yellow safety posts in front of the school. Although there was only minimal damage to the bus, the driver erring on the side of safety, asked for a new bus to be dispatched.
Please know that at no time were the students unsafe, or placed in a situation where their safety was at risk.
I would like to thank the staff that were on duty, bus patrols and the bus driver for ensuring the safety of all of our students. I would also like to thank Sharp Bus Lines for their help in dealing with this situation.
