Good afternoon SUNS!

The entire staff at Saint John Paul II hopes you had a restful and relaxing March Break.  We are so excited to see all of you back next week.  As we all continue to prepare for the upcoming week, we wanted to share some information with all of you.

Monday is a great Welcome Back day!  Our painters are just about done upstairs and the classes will review the expectations for students in and around the school.

Tuesday is World Down Syndrome Day and we recognize this by wearing different coloured socks.  When people ask us about our socks, we can start the discussion to raise awareness for those in our community living with Down Syndrome.  On Tuesday we also welcome the “Scientists in Schools” group.  Our Grade 2’s will love it!

Wednesday brings us to our Spiritwear Wednesday.  We encourage everyone to wear their SUNS wear to school on Wednesday.

Thursday we have some primary classes going to Shades Mill, and we look forward to hearing about how our Boys and Girls do at their Basketball and Volleyball tournaments!  Good luck SUNS!

On Friday we have our Pizza Day, and want to remind everyone that April Hot Lunch orders are due by the end of the weekend.

We will be walking our students through a reminder of some of the “little things” that we can all do, to ensure that the end of our year is positive and successful.  Our 2 goals will be to “Do the little things properly”, and to “Finish Strong”.  Our students have done so much this year and put in so much effort so far.  We want to make sure that they continue the effort right to the end of the year.  Please have a conversation with your students about this so that we can make sure that we are all on the same page!  See some of the information below and have a great weekend!  See you all on Monday at 8:20 am!
